Description
Imperial Personnel are looking for a Fabricator to join our client in Mansfield on a full-time basis.
Our client is a manufacturer of metal structures such as stair heads and handrailing.
As a Fabricator your role will comprise of general welding and fabrication such as marking out, cutting, drilling, tacking, welding and assembly. You will use the appropriate tools, plant, equipment and machinery.
Responsibilities
· To ensure all applicable requirements of ISO 3834 execution class 2 and 3 together with 1090-1 CE marking within their areas of responsibility are adhered to.
· Working to relevant welding procedures for tasks.
· An inspection of all machinery and equipment for welding before use and to complete inspection forms when required.
· Ensuring equipment is at the correct voltage with an inspection of all welds undertaken and completion of Factory Production Control (FPC) Documentation for each stage.
· Deployment to other production areas may not be a welding orientated task as may be necessary as indicated below.
Other Duties Include:
Using; Banding Machines, Portable and fixed grinders, Drills, Oxy burning equipment, Band Saw / Chop Saws, Overhead Cranes, Metal Work, Belt Sander, Rolling Machine, Gas bottle Replacement, Replacement of saw blades grinding disc/wheels, Bevelling Machine General Labouring were required and Basic Housekeeping.
