Financial Controller
£60,000 - £65,000

Imperial Personnel are working in partnership with our client in Mansfield, NG19 as a new and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Controller to join their team on a full-time and permanent basis.

Our client is an accreditation board for the trades and labour industry who are undergoing a period of significant growth.

As the Financial Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring that the Finance department is operating efficiently and will work alongside the management accountant to ensure all operational tasks are completed accurately and on time to produce all financial reports. Your role will be key to improving reporting capabilities and information sharing for our client.

Duties:

  • To review and sign off the monthly management accounts.
  • Drive improvements in financial processes and information.
  • Own the annual budgeting process for the business.
  • Sit as part of the senior team offering insight.
  • To review and sign off monthly payroll.
  • Support the data analyst with priorities and workload management to achieve organisational goals.
  • Support with purchasing decisions.
  • Support business wide projects including operational efficiencies and system implementations.

Requirements:

  • A qualified accountant.
  • Someone who is happy to work at all levels of the business. Previous SME experience desirable.
  • Professional, articulate, confident and strong communication skills.
  • Able to make decisions and prioritise workload, working to tight deadlines.
