Class 2 Driver

Location: Ripley, Derbyshire
Pay Rate: £16.81 per hour PAYE (including holiday pay)
Hours: Monday - Friday | Start times between 05:00 - 06:00
Contract: Ongoing

Imperial Personnel are recruiting Class 2 Drivers on behalf of our well-established client based in Ripley, Derbyshire.

The role will involve predominantly completing pallet network deliveries, working as part of a professional and supportive transport team.

Key Responsibilities

• Completing pallet network deliveries safely and efficiently
• Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
• Ensuring deliveries are completed on time and to a high standard
• Completing delivery paperwork accurately
• Maintaining excellent customer service at delivery locations
• Following all driver hours and road transport regulations

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Newly qualified drivers are encouraged to apply
• Valid CPC qualification
• Valid Digital Tachograph (Digi) card
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills
• Positive attitude with a good sense of humour
• No DD, DR or IN convictions
