Machine Operative (Nights)

Imperial Personnel are recruiting for a Machine Operative to join our client in Alfreton on a temp-to-perm basis on the night shift.

Our client is a leading manufacturer specializing in silicone and polymer adhesive products. With a strong commitment to quality and innovation, we deliver high-performance solutions to our customers across various industries.

We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated Machine Operative to operate and maintain our production machinery in Alfreton. As a Machine Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor machinery in accordance with standard operating procedures.
• Set up machines for production runs and make necessary adjustments as required.
• Monitor machine performance, identify any issues or malfunctions, and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the production team to achieve production targets and meet deadlines.
• Report any equipment failures or maintenance requirements to the appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular quality checks and inspections to maintain product standards.
• Load and unload materials onto machines, ensuring a steady flow of production.
• Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining quality standards.
• Physical stamina to handle repetitive tasks and lift/move heavy materials if required.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work in shifts and overtime as needed.

Pay: £11.94ph

Hours: Monday - Friday, Night Shift, 10pm - 6am.

Training is to be completed on day shift (6am - 2pm) for first few weeks.
