Stock Controller

Imperial Personnel are recruiting for a Stock Controller to join our client in Worksop, S81 on a full-time 12-month temp-to-perm basis.

As a Stock Controller you will carry out inventory control measures to ensure accurate physical and systemic records of stock holding, with the view to investigate and resolve stock discrepancies.

Duties:

· Reconciliation of internal stock records on SAP with external warehouse stock inventory reports.

· To investigate inventory discrepancies and ensure action is made.

· Liaising with all departments on inventory queries.

· Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock records on the SAP.

· Work with external stores when reviewing stock discrepancies.

· Compile weekly stock reports to show stock values, stores reconciled and stock trends.

· Reconciliation of stock statuses between store and SAP.

· Processing stock transfers on the SAP when stock is relocated to alternative stores.

· Where required, carry out and control perpetual inventory stock counting and accuracy checks within external stores.

Hours and Pay:

Up to 24k doe

Monday – Fri (35 hours per week)

9am – 5pm (1hour lunch)

Requirements:

· Experience of working within stock, finance department or Logistics environment.

· Strong IT skills and the ability to manipulate raw data effectively.

· A team player that is keen to work with the wider business and the rest of Finance & Logistics.

· A high level of attention to detail.

· Ability to use initiative when problem solving.
