Location: Holmewood, Chesterfield
Pay: £13.10 per hour
Shifts: 4 On, 4 Off | 6:00am–6:00pm or 6:00pm–6:00am
Contract: Ongoing

Imperial Personnel are currently recruiting for Warehouse Operatives / PPT Drivers to join a busy distribution operation based in Holmewood, Chesterfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a fast-paced warehouse environment, working a popular 4 on, 4 off shift pattern with ongoing work and full training provided where required.

The Role

As a Warehouse Operative / PPT Driver, you'll play a key role in supporting the smooth flow of goods through the warehouse. Working closely with the warehouse team and administration staff, you'll help ensure inbound and outbound operations run safely and efficiently.

Duties Include:

  • Supporting the loading and unloading of inbound and outbound vehicles
  • Picking, moving and handling stock throughout the warehouse
  • Handballing goods to and from containers where required
  • Operating a PPT (training provided if required)
  • Using RF scanners and stock management systems
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment
  • Following all Health & Safety procedures and company policies

Requirements:

  • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial but not essential
  • PPT or Reach Truck experience is advantageous
  • Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems is desirable
  • Ability to work in a busy, fast-paced environment
  • Good teamwork and communication skills
